Each September, our Burner community comes together to make art, dance, and celebrate. We call this gathering ‘Underland’. 

If you have never been to a Burner event before, you will find imaginative, soulful, quirky people who are committed to building community through creativity in all its forms. If you have been, you will feel at home with burnable art, theme camps, mutant vehicles, and participant-led creations. 

Everything at Underland is 100% created by participants - the art, music, workshops, safety, and logistics crews are all volunteers. Our community organisation - Common Arts Victoria - draws the lines. The community colours it in!

Our community is influenced by the 10 Principles of Burning Man - but we bring our own local flair and flavour! We value participation over consumption; relationships over ego; purpose before action; and play before work.
