One More Night!*

At Underland this year, the CAV committee heard from several people who expressed the desire to run Underland for an extra night. This would mean Underland starts on Wednesday 23rd of September 2026 instead of Thursday 24th.**

We love the idea. At the same time, we still don't have enough co-creators for critical teams.

Given these tensions, we are happy to announce that we will extend Underland 2026 by an extra night, subject to the following conditions:

1. All lead co-creators need to be filled approximately 3 months before the event.**
2. Crew numbers need to have reached critical mass approximately 1 month before the event.**

We will plan on the basis of a 5 night event for 2026 and will make a decision about whether an extra night is viable one month before the event.** If you support this initiative and want a longer Underland, please email crew@commonarts.org.au to express interest in either a lead role, or a crew/volunteer role.

Right now, we are looking for a year-round volunteer to take the reins with our comm's (e.g. social media, eNews, web content), as well as another to become our crew wrangler. Both of these roles need to be filled as a matter of priority.
