Well hello CAV members new and old!
The last peg has been removed, and our site crew have left the paddock – that is Underland done for another year! Thanks to everyone who played, partied, made art and burnt with us. This was our biggest and best Underland yet! We now go into post-event reflection mode and preparation for our AGM on 24 November, before beginning to plan for Underland 2026!

UNDERLAND THEME ANNOUNCEMENT: THRESHOLD!
In 2026, we find ourselves standing at a collective threshold. The world is shifting—fast. Between rising authoritarianism, artificial intelligence surging forward, climate precarity, and broken systems, the edge we’re teetering on feels both terrifying and exhilarating.
‘Threshold’ invites us to embody what it means to exist on the cusp—of crisis, of possibility, of transformation. Threshold asks: What do we carry forward, and what do we leave behind? How do we move through fear into action? Together, let’s create art, ritual, and connection that helps us make meaning in a time that defies it.
2026 DATES
We are happy to announce that Underland 2026 will (most likely) be held on Thursday 24th – Monday 28th September. We say ‘most likely’ as we just need final confirmation of the Grand Final public holiday.
